<p>PURPOSE:To suppress accumulation of heat in a thermal head and to obtain a uniform printing, by operating a serial output data from a parallel-serial converter and a serial output data from a second shift register through an arithmetic unit and producing a hysteresis data then inputting the hysteresis data serially to a first shift register. CONSTITUTION:A selection circuit 30 is controlled such that a parallel output signal from a second shift register 11B is made effective by an output signal 29 from a counter 27, and the data is latched in a latch circuit 13 by an output signal from the counter 27 so as to heat a heating element 17 for a predetermined time by an output signal from a counter 5. After printing of current line is finished, a paper and an ink sheet are stepped by single dot by means of a motor then next dot line data are inputted to a second shift register 11B so as to form a hysteresis data in an arithmetic unit 21 based on print data in previous line and current line, then the hysteresis data are inputted to a first shift register 11A. Consequently, accumulation of heat in a thermal head itself can be suppressed, resulting in a uniform print quality.</p> |
