An intake manifold integrating an installation flange with a surge tank is provided to reduce weight and cost and to improve productivity and ride comfort by eliminating a stay which is used for reinforcing rigidity of a manifold. An intake manifold has runners(11) extended from a surge tank(12) and an installation flange(13) integrated at the end of each runner as one body to mount the manifold to a cylinder block. For the case of a 4-cylinder engine, there are 4 runners. An integrated body of four runners and the surge tank is made of a plastic material.
