The system comprises the first processor for providing railway data such as train positions on railways, train courses, delay times, number of passengers at each station or on each platform, and railway control instructions. - The other processors detect railway and other data such as the numbers of passengers at the respective stations or on the platforms. Instead of the operation display board, the display unit is employed which is connected to all processors to perform graphic and character display. - The display unit has an intelligent characteristic (or editing and processing functions) such that normally it receives the data from the first processor and displays the data thus received. It detects when the first processing device becomes out of order or data communication between the display unit and the first processor becomes impossible, in which case it directly receives the data from the other processors, and edits and displays the data thus received.
