PURPOSE:To make easy reservation setting operation without errors by reading the information for reservation setting simultaneously from a medium recorded simultaneously with sets of such information and transferring the information simultaneously to electronic equipment. CONSTITUTION:The program reservation control items including the operation start date, time, etc., of an electronic equipment body 12 are recorded in the form of bar codes 6 on the information recording medium 5. The codes 6 are simultaneously read in a reading part 8 of an operation instruction device 7 in the case of making the reservation operation. The operator transfers the reservation contents simultaneously to the body 12 by pushing a reservation content delivery command button 9 of the device 7. Optical communication is made from a light emitting element part 10 of the device 7 to the data receiving part of the body 12 at the time of the transfer. The body 12 makes the prescribed operation at the prescribed time based on the transferred contents. The reservation operation is then facilitated and the errors are eliminated. |
