Conveyor for transporting articles vertically - has motorised handling head to move articles w.r.t. conveyor sub-paths

The conveyor for transporting articles on a vertical path has subpaths in which one or more separate paths each have a variable motor for driving at least one handling head (18). This moves horizontally and vertically. When moving vertically, it takes an article over at least a part of the sub paths. The handling head retains the same position during vertical and horizontal movement. The motor has a separate controllable vertical motor, for the vertical movements and a horizontal one for the horizontal movements of the handling lead.
