<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish both noiseless operation of an actuator and the greatest attractive force when an operation is completed by a method wherein the movable iron core for transmitting force outside is shaped so that the core can be non-contactingly operated maintaining a very small air gap and the area of the movable iron core facing a pole core may change in a predetermined manner as it moves. CONSTITUTION:When a movable iron core 5 begins to perform a pivotal movement at the position 5-1, the area S of the movable core facing an excitation iron core across as gap increases linearly with a rotational angle theta (traverse axis) as indicated by the straight line 20. In the case of said structure, when the movable core 5 begins to perform a pivotal movement form the position 5-1, the area S increases quadratically with the rotational angle theta as indicated by the curved line 30. The movable core 5 has the characteristics in which the change of torque T at that time increases slowly in the beginning of rotation of the core like the curved line 31 as shown by the lateral axis theta and the longitudinal axis T in the diagram, and it reaches the maximum value in the final stage and then decreases again.</p> |
