Micro lenses are supported, whilst being cleaned, on a disc (1) with triangular teeth formed around its periphery. One flank of each tooth has a V shaped notch (2) midway along its length. This notch receives a micro lens (3) which is held in place by a leaf spring (4). The leaf spring has a longitudinal slot extending from one end. This slot enables the spring to fit over the edge of the disc and to be secured on both sides by pins (5). The spring has a U shaped projection which presses against the edge of the micro-lens.
