PURPOSE:To use plural laser devices to be easily operated with a comparatively low cost and a small output to obtain a large output by arranging beam converging axes coincidently or extremely nearly, increasing beam power and energy density and distributing high energy density parts up and down or right and left. CONSTITUTION:Two beams 3, 7 are received by respective plane mirrors 4, 8, reflected upward so as to be transmitted to a converging concave mirror 5 and the mirror 5 is arranged so that the converging axes of respective beams almost coincide with each other to superpose beam energy and converge the energy on a focus 9 as a common focus. Consequently, the power of the beams on the focus 9 becomes the sum of two laser beams and the energy density also becomes the sum of the energy density on the focus based upon the beams 3, 7. In stead of completely superposing respective beams on the focus 9, the plane mirror 8 e.g. receiving one beam is finely adjusted and the relational positions of two beam spots are arranged right and left in parallel so that portions with high energy density can be distributed right and left. |
