摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To produce a high-calory gaseous hydrocarbon by subjecting the exhaust gas discharged from a prereducing furnace of smelting and reducing equipment for producing a molten iron to dust removal and recovering the sensible heat thereof in a heat recovery device, then removing gaseous CO2 therefrom, further, adjusting the ratio of CO and H2 to an adequate ratio and bringing the gas into reaction in a reaction column. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas from the raw material prereducing furnace 2 of the apparatus for producing the molten iron from iron ore is subjected to dust removal and cleaning in a dust collector 3. The sensible heat of the exhaust gas is recovered in the form of high-temp. steam in the heat recovery device; thereafter, the CO2 component of the gas is separated and removed in a CO2 removing device 5. The remaining exhaust gas consists essentially of the CO and H2 and is introduced by a blower 11 into a pretreatment device 6 where moisture, sulfur and other harmful org. components are removed from the gas. CO is partly decreased with a CO removing device 7 and if necessary, a coke furnace gas is supplied thereto to adjust the molar ratio of H2 and CO to 2.6-4.5. After the gas is compressed to 25-30kg/cm<2> by a compressor 8, the gas is fed into the reaction column 9 having an Ni catalyst to for the gaseous hydrocarbon such as CH4 or C3H8. The formed gas is cooled 12 and is then fed into the reaction column 10 for removing impurities where the unreacted gases, etc. are removed. The high-quality gaseous CH4 or C3H8 is thus obtd.</p>
