PURPOSE:To enhance bleaching power by incorporating a specified compound having N and S in a molecule and a polymer of pyrrolidone units in the bleach- fixing processing solution of a photographic sensitive material after color development. CONSTITUTION:The bleach-fixing processing solution contains one of the compounds represented by formulae I, II, III, or the like in which Q is an atomic group necessary to form an N-containing hetero ring; R1 is H, alkyl, aryl, amino, a heterocyclic group, or the like; each of R2 and R3 is H, alkyl, hydroxy, carboxy, aryl, or the like; A is -C(=X')-NRR' or the like; each of X and X' is =S, =O, or the like; each of R and R' is same as each of R2 and R3; Q1 is an atomic group necessary to form an N-containing hetero ring; R11 is an alkali metal atom, alkyl, or the like. Above all, the compounds of formula III is preferable. The bleach-fixing processing solution also contains the polymer of the pyrrolidone ring units, such as polypyrrolidone having a molecular weight of 500-800,000, thus permitting bleaching to be remarkably enhanced, yellow stains to be prevented. |
