<p>PURPOSE:To lengthen the service life of a thermal head, by making a modification control of print pattern for each print information such that the operation is not concentrated extremely onto any heating dot constituting the thermal head. CONSTITUTION:When it is judged that the count of a sheet number counter has reached a print pattern rotary period N, previous print pattern is rotated by 180 deg. and the sheet number counter is cleared than ticket issue process is executed based on a new print pattern provided upon the rotation of 180 deg.. Consequently, even when a ticket 5 is underlined 12 and the operation is concentrated onto a heating dot 13 at point A on a thermal head 3, periodic rotation of the print pattern by 180 deg. causes the underline 12 to move to point B on the thermal head 3 thus preventing extreme abrasion of heating dot only at the point A locally.</p> |
