PURPOSE:To continue the operation of a normal information processor even after detection of a trouble without discontinuing the system working in accordance with execution of a health check, by checking a device to receive a health check after separating this device from a system. CONSTITUTION:A started health check HC control program 40 starts the HC control independently of an operating system 10. A 1st information processor 2 is selected as an HC subject and the HC is started. The start of this HC is also informed to a 2nd information processor 3 and a 1st memory interface 5 and an inter-device interface 7 are cut off. Then the micro-diagnosis is carried out by a micro-diagnosis execution control circuit 21 and the end of this diagnosis is informed. An error detecting circuit 22 which stores the result of diagnosis is checked and an indication is delivered for connection of both interfaces 5 and 7 as long as no error is detected from the circuit 22. Then the end of the HC is informed to the processor 3 and the processor 3 is defined as the next HC subject. If an error is detected from the circuit 22, the trouble of the processor 2 is informed to the processor 3. Hereafter the operation is continued by a normal information processor. |
