<p>PURPOSE:To surely detect a recording medium cassette loaded into a cassette holder by utilizing the movement of a moving member provided in general to a recording and reproducing device of this kind so as to detect the loading of the recording medium cassette into the cassette holder. CONSTITUTION:A switch 19 is operated by the movement of the loading detection member 17, whose position is changed depending when no recording medium cassette 1 is loaded into the cassette holder 15 and the recording medium cassette is loaded in the cassette holder 15. Thus, when the recording medium cassette 1 is loaded in the cassette holder 15, since the loading detection member 17 is moved surely, the loading of the cassette 1 is detected surely and no special member is required for the detection.</p> |
