PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of flickering and the deterioration of vertical resolution by providing two field memories with left and right video signals, and storing odd number fields and even number fields, and reading them at nearly a double scanning speed. CONSTITUTION:Output signals from a television camera for left image and a television camera for right image are written respectively in first fourth field memories 3, 4, 7 and 8 in a 2:1 interlace system and read out from field memories 3, 4, 7 and 8 at about a double the scanning speed. In such a case, the order of reading from the field memories is the sequence of field memory 3, 7, 4, 8, and read out by switching an output signals from each field memory every 1/120 second. Thereby, left and right image signal can be formed to a time division signal interlaced alternately left and right, and in order of field and sent out. |
