PURPOSE:To display a moving picture and the like by providing a window including a fit-in picture and a control window composed of two types of control displays specifying a fit-in part and a background part, generating a picture synthesizing the fit-in picture and its background under the control of the control window and displaying said picture through the use of the function of a window display. CONSTITUTION:A window synthesizing part 21 inputs background information from a refresh memory 2 or a save memory 6, contents in a window buffer 5 and those in a control window buffer 20, and selects information from the window buffer 5 or background information from the refresh memory 2 with a respect to each corresponding information according to information from the control window. Since a window control part 24 sequentially writes picture information that the window synthesizing part 21 selects and outputs in the specified window area of the refresh memory 2, a display part 1 displays the picture. Thus, with the aid of the window display function, the movement of an object in any profile can be easily displayed. |
