PURPOSE:To make the processing of the title recording head easy, by a method wherein the cover plate having a plurality of ink feed ports respectively interconnected to ink cavities is joined onto the surface of a piezo-electric material plate, and the ink feed plate having the ink feed chamber communicated with the ink feed port is joined to the cover plate. CONSTITUTION:An ink cavity 12 is formed in a piezo-electric material plate 10, and electrodes 28, 30 are provided. The cover plate 32 having an ink feed port 48 is joined to the piezo-electric material plate 10, and an ink feed plate 34 having an ink feed chamber 46 communicated with each ink feed port 48 is joined into the cover plate 32. When a voltage is impressed between the electrodes 28, 30, the piezo-electric material is expanded and the volume in the ink cavity 12 is decreased. Consequently, ink is sprayed in a liquid drop from the ink nozzle 38 communicated to the ink cavity 12 and brought onto a recording carrier. Since an ink feed means is thus formed separately from the piezo-electric material plate, the processing of the piezo-electric material plate becomes extremely simple. |
