A cosmetic container incorporating an airtight casing is provided to block air ventilation in an inner dish, and to secure stable locking and unlocking states of the container. A cosmetic container comprises: a lower container(10) for storing contents; an upper container(20) hinged to the lower container; an airtight casing(23); a slider(30) disposed at the upper container, for making a lateral sliding motion; and a locking screw thread(24). The lower container includes an outer dish(13) for housing an inner dish(15), and a fixed screw thread(14) to which the screw thread of the airtight casing is locked. The upper container includes an airtight casing mount(21) formed in vicinity of a mirror(27), an annular groove(21a) formed in the rear of the airtight casing mount for receiving a locking annular protrusion, and a slider mount protrusion passing through a slide groove(22a) formed on an activity hole and a front-side wall(22).
