TOPICAL PREPARATION OF TESTOSTERONE

A testosterone external preparation is provided to show better skin permeability than that of a conventional testosterone preparation and alleviate skin irritation. A testosterone external preparation comprises: 0.1-5.0 wt.% of testosterone; 0.1-10.0 wt.% of ethyl laurate; 50.0-90.0 wt.% of a lower alcohol such as methanol, ethanol and iso-propanol; and 1.0-40.0 wt.% of water. The preparation further comprises a thickening agent such as poloxamer and carbomer.
