PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent blocking in recording or exfoliation of an ink layer in taping test from occurring, by providing the ink layer on a base film consisting of a polyester film, with an adhesive layer consisting of a copolymeric polyester resin provided therebetween. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive layer 3 is provided by applying a copolymeric polyester resin to a base film 1 consisting of a polyester film. Then, an ink layer forming solution 4 prepared by dissolving a dye and a binder in a solvent such as monochlorobenzene is applied to the adhesive layer 3. As a result, a mixture layer 5 of a dissolved part of the copolymeric polyester resin in the adhesive layer 3 and the ink layer forming solution 4 is provided, and upon drying by heating, a hardened mixture layer 7 and an ink layer 6 are provided on the adhesive layer 3, thereby an ink sheet 16 is completed. Both the adhesion between the base film 1 and the adhesive layer 3 and that between the adhesive layer 3 and the ink layer 6 can be enhanced. Accordingly, it is possible to obtain images with high recorded density and favorable uniformity, without possibility of exfoliation of the ink layer 6 in a taping test or of blocking in recording. |
