<p>An internal combustion engine is provided with a device (6) of the induction ramming compressor type which has a rotor (8) with axial cells (9) and driving plates (10, 11) on both sides provided with at least two openings (12, 13, 15, 16) each. The two openings (12, 13) of one driving plate (10) are linked with the low-pressure air tubing (24) for the suction air or with high-pressure air tubing (2) for the compressed air and the two openings (15, 16) of the other driving plate (11) are linked with high-pressure exhaust fumes tubing (5) of the motor or with low-pressure exhaust fumes tubing (22). The openings are so arranged that when the rotor (8, 8') rotates each cell (9, 9', 9'') is successively linked to the low-pressure air tubing (24), the high-pressure exhaust fumes tubing (5), the high-pressure air tubing (2) and the low-pressure exhaust fumes tubing (22). At least one additional opening (14, 17) is provided for heat exchange in each driving plate (10, 11); these openings lie opposite each other and are linked on the one hand with the low-pressure exhaust fumes tubing (22) and on the other hand with exhaust fumes tubing that leads to the open air or on the one hand with intake tubing that leads to the open air and on the other hand with the low-pressure air tubing.</p> |
