<p>Novel organosilicon compounds represented by general formula (I), wherein A represents -CH2-CH2-, -CH=CH- or -CH2-O-, R1 represents a methyl group or a group represented by general formula (II), (wherein R4 and R5, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group containing 1 to 3 carbon atoms, a haloalkyl group containing 1 to 2 carbon atoms, a haloalkoxy group or, when taken together, R4 and R5 represent a methylenedioxy group), X represents a nitrogen atom or a methine group, Y represents an oxygen atom, a methylene group, an amino group, a methylamino group, a formylamino group or a carbonyl group, R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a fluorine atom, and R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a methyl group, a process for their preparation, and insecticides and miticides containing them as effective ingredients and a diluent, a carrier and/or an aid such as an insect growth disturbing agent are disclosed.</p> |
