Two shuttering elements, which exhibit peripheral frame profiles (12), are fitted together with two frame profiles and, for the connection, use is made of a gripper-like connecting device which exhibits a locking bar (16) and two gib-and-cotter arrangements (18) which fix the locking bar on the frame profile (12). The gib-and-cotter arrangements (18) can be fixed at any point of the frame profiles, to be precise either by frictional locking or, if the inner side of the frame profiles is provided with longitudinally running depressions or elevations, also by positive locking. <IMAGE>
