Battery-changing device

The battery-changing device is provided for changing the tractive-machine batteries (6) of monorail conveyors in underground mine operation. The changing device consists of a supporting frame (8) which surrounds the rail track (1), is mounted in a longitudinally displaceable manner and has a lifting platform (15) arranged in it. A transverse-displacement device (22, 23) is allocated to the lifting platform (15). Parallel to the rail track (1) of the monorail conveyor, a second rail track (1a or 1b) is provided as an indirect component of a loading station next to the supporting frame (8). By means of the lifting platform (15) and the transverse-displacement device (22, 23), the tractive-machine battery (6) of a transport train located in the changing device can be transferred into the loading station, and conversely a loaded battery (6) can be taken from the loading station and put into the bearing beam of the transport train without additional transport aids. <IMAGE>
