PURPOSE:To separate a hemolytic solution into hemin and globin without using an organic solvent, high polymer flocculant, etc., by treating the hemolytic solution with an acid to adjust the pH within a specific range and heat-treating the adjusted hemolytic solution at a specific temperature in removing hemoglobin from erythrocytes. CONSTITUTION:Hemoglobin is removed from erythrocytes. In the process, a hemolytic solution is treated with an acid, e.g. acetic acid, formic acid, etc., to adjust the pH to 4.5-5.5. The adjusted hemolytic solution is then heat-treated at 50-70 deg.C, preferably for 2-48hr to precipitate the formed denatured globin and remove the globin from the hemolytic solution. |
