Tube weapon (weapon with a barrel)

Known tube weapons having a firing bolt arrangement which is firmly locked in the weapon housing and having a propellant charge chamber which can pivot transversely with respect to the barrel bore axis about a bolt which is mounted on the weapon housing allow only one feed of projectiles (rounds), whose length is limited, and do not allow the target to be sighted through the weapon barrel. The new tube weapon is intended to enable projectiles to be fed into the weapon barrel irrespective of their length and to allow easy sighting through the weapon barrel. The weapon housing 9 of the tube weapon 1 contains (on one side of the extended barrel bore axis 2), a bolt 3 for carrying out the pivoting movement of the propellant charge chamber 11 and of a retaining bridge 7, which supports the firing bolt arrangement 8, and (on the other side) an opposing bearing bolt 10 on which the propellant charge chamber support 11 and the retaining bridge 7 are mounted by means of locking elements 13 and a securing element 14 which locks the locking elements. As a result of the additional capability of the retaining bridge on the firing bolt arrangement to pivot out, targets can easily be sighted through the barrel and projectiles which are to be tested and have a length extending beyond the length of the propellant charge chamber support can be inserted into the weapon barrel manually. <IMAGE>
