An accessory device, capable of being firmly clamped on a work table (22) or the like, for the stationary use of a machine (21), e.g. a portable drilling machine, consists of a base (1) capable of being fixed to the edge of the work table and a machine holder (13) with insertion foot (16) which is assigned, at the base (1), at least two insertion receptacles (5, 6) of the same type. To obtain an accessory device which is suitable for carrying out a large number of operations which are customary in do-it-yourself work and in which the setting and resetting can be simply and, in their functionality, easily surveyed, provision is made for a workpiece-adjusting frame (70) with an insertion foot (71) which can be inserted into whichever insertion receptacle (5 or 6) is not occupied by the machine holder (13). <IMAGE>
