The device for sealing the intermediate space (10) between a protective tube (1) of a grouted anchor and a borehole wall running concentrically to the same has a porous and extensible fabric which is permeable to liquid and is turned up to form a fabric pocket (9). A plaiting (7) consisting of threads crossing one another is put over the fabric pocket (9). The plaiting (7) covers the entire surface (9a) and the front end (9b) of the fabric pocket (9). The fabric pocket (9) is fastened with its free margins (9c) to the protective tube (1), and the plaiting (7) is fastened to the protective tube (1) or to the fabric pocket (9). The threads of the plaiting (7) form drainage grooves of the grouting compound (6) poured into the fabric pocket (9). At the same time, they form vent grooves for the residual air from the grouting zone (18) of the grouted anchor (20). <IMAGE>
