The invention relates to a method and a device for drying particle-shaped bulk materials and pastes, in which the wet material is mixed together with an adsorption medium which differs in grain size from the material to be dried and is separated off from the dried material by classifying after a delay time. The adsorption medium can then be continuously or discontinuously regenerated and used again.
