1. Method for the initialisation of equipment for the acquisition of seismic data, distributed along a seismic profile to be surveyed, each unit being designed to receive the signals transmitted by sensors, to process these and record them and, when commanded by a central laboratory, to transfer to it the data relating to the said signals, in accordance with a selected transmission channel, characterised in that it consists of using a system of light transmission which comprises a first mobile control device and a number of secondary devices associated respectively with the various different data acquisition units, the first mobile control device being transported into the vicinity of each of the data acquisition units in succession and the operational parameters being transmitted to the said data acquisition units. |
