PURPOSE:To form a material for an optical disc, base, which gives an optical disc having excellent heat resistance, low birefringence and a high C/N, by blending a specified arom. polyester polymer with a comb-shaped polymer and kneading the mixture. CONSTITUTION:This material for an optical disc base is formed from 50-90wt% arom. polyester polymer of formula I and 10-50wt% comb-shaped polymer of formula II. |
