PURPOSE:To prepare a penetrating vaporization separating membrane with high ethanol preferential permeability by surface treating a film, prepared by plazma polymerizing silicone rubber film or organic silicone, with a silane coupling agent containing long-chain alkyl. CONSTITUTION:A silicon rubber film is prepared by coating silicon solved with solvent on an adequate support membrane and hat treating or the like. Silane coupling agent such as octadecyl diethoxymethyl silane or the like is contacted with the surface of said membrane and then heat treated to prepare a separating membrane. By using said membrane thus prepared, a mixture of volatile organic liquid and water, such as a mixed liquid of ethanol/water, is permeated and separated by means of a penetrating vaporization with preferential permeation of organic liquid such as ethanol or the like. |
