PURPOSE:To lessen discoloring of an image due to water saving, and to reduce unevenesses of density and reflection on the surface of the image by washing the titled material with a water contg. hydrogen peroxide and a silver stain preventive agent, after a processing step by a thiosulfate, and by specifying the replenishing amount of the washing water. CONSTITUTION:In the developing treatment, the titled material is washed with the water contg. hydrogen peroxide and one kind of silver stain preventive agent, after the processing step by the thiosulfate. The amount of the replenisher of the washing water is <=3l (including zero) per 1m<2> of the photosensitive material. Thus, the image having less tendency for generation of discoloring and uneveness of the density etc. is obtd., and the contamination due to silver which generates in a water washing tank can be effectively prevented. |
