A 5-aminopyrazole of the formula <IMAGE> in which R1 represents alkoxycarbonyl, alkenyloxycarbonyl or alkinyloxycarbonyl, and R3, R4, R5, R6, and R7, which are identical or different, represent hydrogen, halogen, cyano, nitro, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylsulphonyl, alkoxycarbonyl or a radical -(X)n-R8 wherein X represents oxygen, sulphur, sulphinyl or sulphyonyl, n represents 0 or 1 and R8 represents halogenoalkyl, with the proviso that at least one of the radicals R3, R4, R5, R6 or R7 represents a radical -(X)n-R8, and R1 does not represent cyano if R1 represents trifluoromethyl, These compounds are intermediates useful in the preparation of herbicidally active substituted 5-acylamino-1-phenylpyrazoles. |
