PURPOSE:To reduce the conc. of NOX in exhaust gas without lowering combustion temp. by installing a variable throttle valve into a fuel feeding passage between a fuel injection pump and an injection nozzle and controlling said valve by a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A controller 6 having the first and the second casings 10 and 11 is installed midway in a fuel feeding pipe which connects a fuel injection pump 2 and a fuel injection nozzle installed onto each cylinder. A stepped part 12 is formed on the top edge side of the casing 10, and a pressing ring 13 is installed onto the stepped part 12, and a needle valve 16 and a receiving valve 17 are accommodated into a penetration hole 15 formed on the casing 10, and the both valves 16 and 17 ared urged in the direction of mutual contact by springs 18 and 19. If a coil 26 is brought into conduction when the engine load increases, the area of a fuel passage which is formed between the both walves 16 and 17 is increased, by shifting the needle valve 16 leftward, and a prescribed amount of fuel is supplied into an injection nozzle in a short time. |
