Heterogeneous medium mixer - superimposing periodical mechanical vibrations in antiphase with specified amplitude

A method has been devised for mixing a heterogeneous medium by creating a swirling flow and by superimposing periodical mechanical vibrations. These vibrations are imparted to the heterogeneous medium by two adoining vibratory sources in antiphase with an amplitude of 0.5 to 10 mm. The appts. comprises a tank, has an inlet and an outlet for the phases. A rod and a coaxial hollow rod carrying stirring discs in the interior. An electromagnetic vibrator comprises two coils with armatures. The coils are mounted on a common base plate and the armatures are fixed to mounting plates, separated by springs. Any gas is extracted through the pipe. USE/ADVANTAGE - For the mineral fertiliser production in the chemical industry, for the production of ferment preparations in the microbiological industry, and in the petrochemical and medicinal branches. This accelerates the process of heat and mass transfer and reduces the overall energy consumption.
