An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent a pad within an LC panel from being oxidized according as the pad is exposed to a cut section of the LC panel when cutting the LC panel. An LC panel(210) includes an image display unit and a pad unit(214). Plural pads(221) are in the pad unit and apply external signals to the image display unit. The pads are far from a section of the LC panel as much as a preset distance. The LC panel comprises first and second substrates(201,202), a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) formed in the first substrate, a gate line and a data line formed in the first substrate, a pixel electrode formed in the first substrate, a color filter layer and a black matrix formed in the second substrate and an LC layer formed between the first and second substrates. |
