A display device and an electronic apparatus are provided with features in which a narrow frame with narrow pitches and much lower power consumption can be achieved. In two horizontal driving circuits (13U) and (13D), sampling latch circuits store three digital data, a common digital-to-analog conversion circuit carries out a digital-to-analog conversion three times during a horizontal scanning period (H), and three analog data are selected on a time sharing basis in the horizontal scanning period to output a signal to a signal line, so that an RGB selector system is adopted.
