Vacuum switching chamber

A vacuum switching chamber contains a casing which consists of ceramic and is closed on both sides by covers consisting of stainless steel. The closure is effected by means of end soldering with the interposition of a copper compensating layer. For self-centering of the parts which are to be connected, the cover and/or a control screen which is connected thereto and covers the inner edge of the ceramic cylinder contains a centering section by means of which these parts engage - fixing themselves - in the ceramic cylinder. By means of this construction, it is possible to manage without soldering devices.
