The system for emptying liquid tanks is composed of a container, the interior of which is depressurised by means of a rotary pump causing a predetermined volume to be sucked out of the tank. The rotary pump is then stopped and the tank is completely emptied by means of a liquid jet pump, the working medium of which is the liquid to be sucked off.
