PURPOSE:To copy the images of a double-sided original to both the sides of paper by validating an original feeding means at the time of the 1st paper feeding to a copying process part in case of validating a double-sided carrying means, and at the time of 2nd paper feeding to the copying process part, validating an original reversing means. CONSTITUTION:In case of selecting a double-side copying mode, ON/OFF of a solenoid is controlled, clutches (CLTs) 1-3 and an original charge 7 are turned on to rotate an original cylinder 6, to feed the original and paper and to execute the copying process. After completing the copying process, sensors S1, S2 are turned off, the original is discharged to an original tray 4,and when the paper reaches an intermediate tray 32, the CLTs 2, 4 are turned on. Consequently, the original is fed to the cylinder 6 and the paper is guided from the tray 32 to a switch back carrier 33. Thus, the paper is fed so that its back is opposed to a photosensitive drum 22 and the original is fed so that its back is opposed to an exposure platen 10 to execute the copying process. |
