<p>These plate shears are of the type equipped with means for the automatic supplying and positioning of the metal sheets to be sheared and comprising, upstream of the table (2), in addition to longitudinal arms (4,4a) carried by the table (2), a longitudinal horizontal beam extending perpendicularly to the vertical plane of the table (2) and serving as a slide for a carriage (15) which itself supports a transverse horizontal beam (16) parallel to the vertical plane of the table (2), this beam (16) carrying grippers (14) capable of gripping the metal sheet to be sheared and of pushing it between the fixed blade (7) and the movable vertical blade (11) carried by the slider (9), the carriage being displaced in a numerically controlled manner on its slide beam towards the table (2). The longitudinal slide beam (16) is placed on the side of the plate shears, and the end of the transverse beam (13) connected to the carriage (15) is articulated about a pivot axis (22) carried by the carriage (15) so as to enable it to be pivoted between two extreme positions, namely a normal use position corresponding to use of the plate shears with numerical control, and a retracted position corresponding to manual use of these shears. <IMAGE></p> |
