A printing-ribbon operating apparatus for a card-printer is provided to simplify its configuration and increase marketability with aesthetic appearance while allowing various designs. A printing-ribbon operating apparatus for a card-printer transfers a print ribbon(10) reeled by a supply roll(20) and performs printing work, and then reels the print ribbon by a winding roll.
