METHOD FOR SAVING MULTIMEDIA CONTENTS BY AUTOMATIC SORTING AND TERMINAL USING THE SAME

A method for storing multimedia contents by automatic sorting and a terminal using the same are provided to include category information in the multimedia contents and sort and store the multimedia contents automatically through category information. A wire and wireless processing unit(11) transceives multimedia contents. A key input unit(12) comprises a keypad and various buttons setting category information of the multimedia contents. A camera(13) photographs a picture or a moving picture to produce the multimedia contents. A storage unit(14) stores the photographed picture or moving data and stores the multimedia contents received through a wire/wireless processing unit. An encoding unit(15) includes the category information when generating the multimedia contents. A decoding unit(16) extracts the category information from the multimedia contents.
