PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of radiation noise with simple structure, to improve the rigidity and strength of a frame and to obtain an image of high quality by combining a chassis using a steel plate and a bottom cover like a box and setting up a printed board for image processing in the box. CONSTITUTION:A laser scanner 6, a paper cassette 7, a paper feed roller 8, a resist roller 9, a transfer electrifier 10, a carrying guide, a fixing device 12, and a driving system constituting function unit parts for image formation are assembled on the metal-made chassis 5. A video printed board 15 having a circuit for controlling the operation of the function unit parts and transmitting a video signal to the scanner 6 and a code printed board 16 for converting an image code signal into a dot signal are set up in a space between the chassis 5 and the bottom cover 4. The aperture parts of a shielding panel 20 and the bottom cover 4 are contracted to the inside to shield electromagnetic waves. |
