PURPOSE:To permit easier mounting of a net filter, etc., by forming a molten metal route shifting along the parting plane of front and rear molds and disposing the net filter to the parting plane so as to shield the shift parts of the two molds. CONSTITUTION:A vertical type shaped casting mold is constituted of the front mold 1 and rear mold 2 formed of sand molds. The sprue route 3 is recessed and provided so as to shift along the parting plane from the front mold to the rear mold 1. The net filter 10 formed of refractory fibers such as glass fibers or carbon fibers is mounted on the parting plane of the front mold 1 so as to cover the entire part of the shift parts 5a, 5b between the front mold 1 and the rear mold 2. The mounting is quickly and automatically executed by a filter mounting device consisting of a cylinder device. The filter mounting is facilitated by the above-mentioned method and the product quality is improved. |
