PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of ununiformity of thickness and cracks in the final product, by fitting a plurality of split molds by some time lags, premolding a fibrous mat material into a molding mat material which is a little thicker than that of the final product and molding this molding mat material in a main mold. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous mat material 11 is put on the undulating mold face 2 of a bottom force 1 for premolding. After each hot block 6 of the bottom force 1 is set in heated condition, an outer split mold 5a is lowered while being heated to pinch lightly and partially the material 11 between an end of a frame- like leg plate 4a and the hot block 6. Successively, an intermediate split mold 5b is lowered while being heated to push in the material 11 by an end of a leg plate 4b of the split mold 5b. Then, by using a remaining split mold 5c, the material 11 is pinched under pressure to make it partially thinner and a mold 7 for a deep draw processing is also fitted in the same way to shape the important part of the final product. Premolding of the molding mat material 12 whose thickness is larger than that of the final product is completed like this and then this is transferred to a mold for the main molding and hardened under heating and pressure. |
