<p>A tape or ribbon reel assembly comprises reel sections (11, 12) with hubs (16) that are interlocked together. Each hub (16) has ears (24, 26) and locking lips (27). The ears (24, 26) and locking lips (27) of the mating hubs interengage each other after relative rotation between the reel sections (11, 12) to hold the hubs together. The widths of the hubs (16) may vary so that reel assemblies having different axial widths or sizes can be made from a minimum of different reel sections.</p> |
