PURPOSE:To enable AC generation by simple constitution without using an inverter circuit, and to miniaturize a device by forming a semiconductor laminated film having doping superlattice structure on the beam incidence side of a photovoltaic cell such as a solar cell. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive film 1 consisting of SnO2 or ITO is shaped onto a transparent substrate 5 such as glass for a photovoltaic device, p, i and n-type a-Sis are laminated on the conductive film 1 in predetermined thickness, and a semiconductor laminated film 2 is formed in doping superlattice structure. p, i and n-type a-Sis are laminated on the laminated film 2 in prescribed thickness, thus shaping a photovoltaic cell as a solar cell 3. A back electrode 4 made up of Al, etc. is formed on the cell 3. An inverter circuit is not used for the photovoltaic device, thus allowing AC generation by simple constitution, then miniaturizing a device and reducing cost. |
