An ink composition for a color filter is provided to prevent ink from blocking a nozzle of an inkjet printer and secure high storage stability and excellent discharging capability. An ink composition for a color filter comprises an alkali-soluble resin, a reactive unsaturated compound, a pigment, and a solvent. The alkali-soluble resin is composed of cardo based compounds represented by the formula 1, and 2. In the formula 1, and 2, R1-R8, and R15-R18 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, and a substituted or non-substituted C1-C5 alkyl group; and R9-R12 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, and -CH2R', R' of the -CH2R' is selected from the group consisting of a substituted or non-substituted acryl group, and a substituted or non-substituted methacryl group; a is 0 or 1. |
