PURPOSE:To increase an air blasting amount and to improve cooling efficiency by permitting a cooling means employing a fan to blast air for cooling toward a carriage moving path, cooling a part where a VCM and the like tend to heat and using the moving path as an air leading path. CONSTITUTION:The titled device is designed so that air blown with the fan 41 is blasted toward the moving mechanism of the carriage 7 which is arranged so as to be confronted with the air leading path 46 in a recessed part 5 whose both sides and bottom are enclosed by a deck 3 and whose upper part side is covered by a disk cartridge 11. The air blasted to the moving mechanism blows through with the moving path of the carriage 15 in the recessed part 5 as the air leading path 46, and simultaneously some of the air blows through the space on the upper side of the disk cartridge 11. Since the moving path of the carriage 15 is used as the air leading path in such a way, the amount of blasting air for cooling can increase, and the cooling efficiency can be improved. |
